SUBROGATION ASSOCIATE

+1 (714) 951-5879

Katie is an Associate Attorney in the Subrogation Department here at MSKW. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento, where she externed with the Sacramento Superior Court, joined the Phi Kappa Phi Honors society, hosted her own DJ show at KSSU, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Art in Philosophy, minor in Economics.  After a short stint stage-managing for the community college theatre in North Highlands, California, Katie attended the University of San Diego School of Law.  Katie began her work in insurance subrogation in the late summer of 2017, after studying abroad in both Paris and London.  In the same year, Katie joined the San Diego Law Review, where she eventually became Lead Articles Editor.

After graduating law school and passing the California Bar, Katie returned to her love of subrogation.  Katie advocates for her clients thoroughly, thoughtfully, and persistently.  She believes that regular and open communication with clients and insureds, coupled with well-grounded liability analysis, leads to the best subrogation results.

In her free time, Katie enjoys attending theatrical performances and concerts, seeing the latest movies, hiking with her fiancé, taking her dog Jet for walks, cuddling with her cat Kara, performing yoga, and playing video games with friends.
