BETH HOPWOOD

Beth Hopwood is a Senior Associate in the Subrogation Department at MSKW. She has many years of experience defending companies in toxic tort and product liability claims, as well as defending public entities in personal injury litigation.

In her 30-plus years of practice in both Northern and Southern California, she has worked with and represented a wide range of companies, from large contractors to small “mom and pop” stores and tiny cities and towns of less than 4,000 residents. She has handled cases at every stage of litigation while providing legal analysis and counsel regarding strategies on a case-by-case basis as well as overall client objectives. She has an understanding of the range of approaches to litigation and prides herself on being responsive to individual clients' needs and providing excellent litigation services to all clients.

Beth earned her B.S. and J.D. from Santa Clara University, and Santa Clara is still her hometown. Beth is admitted to practice before all courts in the state of California as well as the United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her two children and their dog, Scout. She travels and reads as much as possible, often at the same time.
